At the Skull Base Molecular Neuro-oncology Laboratory (also known as the Patel Lab), we are dedicated to unraveling the intricate molecular mechanisms underlying tumors of the skull base. Our interdisciplinary team of researchers, led by Dr. Bhuvic Patel, is committed to advancing the understanding and treatment of these challenging neurosurgical conditions.

The lab employs cutting-edge molecular biology techniques to investigate the genetic, epigenetic, and cellular alterations driving the initiation, progression, and therapeutic resistance of skull base tumors. By elucidating the molecular pathways involved, we aim to identify novel biomarkers for early detection, prognostication, and personalized treatment strategies.
