Our digital signs increase awareness about Olin events among faculty, staff, students, and visitors. The dynamic signs provide a daily schedule of events; real-time social media posts; faculty, staff, and student profiles; and rotating event slides. Faculty, staff, and student organizations can contribute events relevant to the Olin community. Each slide appears for 10 seconds at a time.

Submission guidelines

  • Create PowerPoint slides with a 16:9 aspect ratio. Template available on the Public Affairs site.
  • Include only a headline, brief copy (e.g., who, what, where, when, etc.) and an image.
  • Content must conform to Olin brand and otherwise be suitable for Olin events.
  • Submit slides to digitalsignage@olin.wustl.edu.
  • Email should include the date and times the slides should appear.
  • Content may be edited to fit.
  • Turnaround time: two business days after submission.

Create Your Slide in 16:9 Aspect Ratio

1. If you already have a slide created:

  • Open the slide in PowerPoint
  • Click on the design tab
  • Click on page setup
  • First option is “Slides Sized for:” choose “On-screen Show (16:9)”
  • Adjust your content to fit in the template layout

2. Creating a new slide

  • Open new slide in PowerPoint
  • Click on the design tab
  • Click on page setup
  • First option is “Slides Sized for:” choose “On-screen Show (16:9)”
  • Place creative on slide accordingly.
