On July 30, 2020, the Human Trafficking Collaborative Network (HTCN) collaborated with the United Nations Association (UNA-USA) of St. Louis and National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW)-St. Louis and held a two-part webinar series titled “Post-Covid19 Anti-Trafficking Strategies”. Part II “Virtual Town Hall with Missouri and Illinois Legislators” was an interactive session with three Missouri and Illinois legislators. Presenters first discussed their strategies to protect the increased numbers of vulnerable populations from human trafficking and their general responses to the impact of Covid19. Viewers asked questions important for their agencies, services, victim protection, and future legislation plans in a town hall styled Q&A session. Legislators included Representative Mary Elizabeth Coleman (MO) who represents the 97th District, Senator Rachelle Aud Crowe (IL) who represents the 56th Senatorial District, and Senator Brian Williams (MO) who represents the 14th Senatorial District in St. Louis County.
