2015 Milestones

  • Exploratory discussion starts via Brown School
  • Pilot funding on exploring the landscape of human trafficking in St. Louis
  • Human Trafficking Interest Group formed primarily by students in WU School of Medicine

2016 Milestones

  • Name changed to Human Trafficking Collaborative Network from Interest Group by four founders (representing Brown School, Institute for Public Health/School of Medicine, Goldfarb School of Nursing, STLCC Forest Park); Institute for Public Health housed HTCN with in-kind and material contributions
  • Three Stakeholder Brainstorming Meetings
  • Website launch via the Institute for Public Health
