How to Get to the Emotion and Relationships Lab
The Psychology Building (Somers Family Hall) is located at
6411 Forsyth Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63130
Directions by Car
From East: Go west on Lindell Blvd and turn left (south) on to N. Skinker Blvd. Make a right on Forsyth Blvd. Within a few moments you should reach the Psychology Building, which will be on your right. It is the 3rd building in. It is located between McDonnell Hall and Rebstock Hall.
From North: Traveling on N. Skinker Blvd, head south until you reach Forsyth Blvd. Make a right on Forsyth Blvd. Within a few moments you should reach the Psychology Building, which will be on your right. It is the 3rd building in. It is located between McDonnell Hall and Rebstock Hall.
From West: Head northeast on Forest Park Parkway until you see an exit for Forsyth Blvd. Take Forsyth Blvd. east past the cross road, Big Bend Blvd., and continue for a bit until you arrive at the Psychology Building on your left. It is the fourth building in after crossing over Wallace Drive. It is located between McDonnell Hall and Rebstock Hall.
From South: Travel north on Big Bend Blvd until you reach Forsyth Blvd. Then, make a right. Within a few moments you should reach the Psychology Building, which will be on your left. It is the fourth building in after crossing over Wallace Drive. It is located between McDonnell Hall and Rebstock Hall.
Directions by Bus
Take the Green Line to the Malinkrodt Center (Stop #2). If you face Malinkrodt Center, we are located 2 buildings to your right (east) once you exit the bus. Please see picture above.
Directions by Metro
We would recommend getting off at Skinker Metro Link Stop. The walk will be shorter to the Psychology Building and easier to find if you are unfamiliar with the campus. It is only one more stop to the east of the Big Bend Metro Link Stop. (Note: We will compensate for travel by metro.)
Skinker Metro Link Stop: Get off and walk south onto campus (away from Kaldi’s Coffee Shop), headed toward the Danforth Campus. You will see a campus map to the right of the sidewalk and eventually will spot the “Brookings Castle”. Brookings Castle has a WashU flag and an American flag which will be visible as you approach campus. When you do reach the stairs of Brookings Castle, turn left and follow the pathway past Hillman hall and Brown hall. This walk should be about seven minutes until you pass under an archway. After passing the archway, follow the path until you reach the Somers Family Hall on your left. The whole walk should be about ten minutes in length.
