Our graduate student Merve attended the 66th TeaP (Conference of Experimental Psychologists) in Regensburg, Germany! She presented her poster titled “Does Reward Induce Shifts in Learning-Guided Reactive Control?”.

Aging 3MT Competition

In the high-pressure arena of the 3MT® competition for the Mark S. Wrighton Award on Aging, our graduate student Merve showcased her collaborative research with Dr. Julie Bugg and Dr. Todd Braver. 3MT is an academic competition where PhD students present their research to a general audience in 3 minutes. Abs Dey received his PhD!

Abs Dey successfully defended his dissertation entitled “Objects are Subordinate to Spatial Features as Cues for Control” and received his PhD! Dr. Dey’s intellect has been invaluable to our lab, and we are excited to see his future contributions. Congratulations, Dr. Dey – You will be missed!

Psychonomics 2023

We attended the Psychonomic Society’s 64th Annual Meeting in San Francisco! Our graduate students Maddie Valdez and Merve Ileri-Tayar, and our post-doc Matt Welhaf presented their work. Also, our former graduate student Jackson Colvett presented a study co-authored by undergraduate researchers Logan Wetz and Ishaan Alva.
