Congratulations to our 2024 BLSA Scholarship Recipients!

This year WashULaw BLSA awarded scholarships to two undergraduate students and one high school student. See their information below:

NaTivia Esson

NaTivia Esson is a senior at Washington University in St. Louis from Memphis, Tennessee, majoring in Anthropology with a minor in Healthcare Management. Throughout her college career, she has been involved in the Medicine and Society Ampersand program, Taylor STARS, TRiO Scholars, and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated. She is interested in regulatory affairs, business compliance, and health law. NaTivia has plans to enter law school in the Fall 2024 semester.

Ty Vallandingham

Ty Vallandingham is a third-year History major at Maryville University. Since high school, Ty has become vastly interested in law and decided to take his first steps once enrolled in college. The first judge he spoke to said he could impact the African-American community regardless of profession, however, the law is where that impact can be vast and remain for decades. As Ty continues exploring, he promises that his goal will be to uplift the African-American community no matter what field of law he chooses.

Kameron Eleby

Kameron Eleby is a junior attending Pattonville High School. Kameron is a three-sport athlete, while also being the captain of the football team . He has gotten many awards during his time playing sports both on and off the field. Kameron believes that his hard work and dedication is a testament of the person he is/becoming today .
