The Black Law Student Association (BLSA) at Washington University School of Law are excited to announce that our 2024 BLSA Scholarship Application is open. Please see the scholarship application form here.
Applicant Eligibility
- High School Senior/Junior or Undergraduate Student
- St. Louis native or student
- Identify as Black or African-American
- Commitment to Scholarship and Service
Application Materials & Timeline
In addition to this form, eligible applicants must email us (blsa@wustl.edu) proof of enrollment from their university upon acceptance into an accredited program, a high school or undergraduate transcript, and a recent photograph to accompany your application materials.
Application materials are due no later than January 19, 2024 at 11:59PM.
Applications will be reviewed by our scholarship committee on a holistic basis. We believe in the importance of recognizing and celebrating the unique stories and faces of academic dedication. We look forward to your inspiring submissions.
Scholarship Selection:
Applications will be reviewed by our scholarship committee on a holistic basis. Recipients can expect to be notified by late-January/early-February.
Additionally, recipients (and a plus one of their choice) will be invited to attend our Annual BLSA Scholarship Banquet to be held on, Friday, February 23rd, 2024. This event represents an opportunity to network with legal professionals, law students, faculty & staff, and community leaders. By meeting and networking with accomplished individuals who share similar backgrounds, we hope our scholars see tangible examples of what they can achieve.
