Alan Lambert is an associate professor of psychology at Washington University in St. Louis where he directs the attitude and social cognition laboratory.  He received his PhD from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 1993. 

A major focus of our research is to understand the role of emotion and affect in the process by which people form attitudes and judgments about persons and events.  Our most recent work has pursued this aim in the context of research and theory on polical psychology.
