FAQ
Any WashU student is welcome to be a part of our club! No experience necessary, no rating requirement needed, no minimum attendance demanded. Come and go as you please, but know we’d love to have you here!
Over the course of the school year, the WashU Chess Club takes members to four classical chess tournaments. We also host two rapid and blitz tournaments and go to the St. Louis Chess Club every Friday night for their Friday Action Quads.
If you’re looking for some online chess, we also participate in the Collegiate Chess League (CCL) by Chess.com. You can also find and join our club page on the same platform.
