Students working in the laboratory gain experience in in vivo electrophysiology, neuroanatomical tract-tracing, pharmacological manipulation of neural circuits, computational modeling, behavioral playback, and quantitative analysis of behavior. More recent work in the laboratory has turned to phylogenetic statistical analysis, multivariate signal analysis, and neuronal imaging.
