Anyone can be part of our Diversity Advisor team. This is a voluntary role, and you can be rotated in and out of our cycle of Diversity Advisors as you please. There is no length of time that you have to commit to being part of our team, come and go as you please!
We welcome any and all faculty, staff, and students to be part of our team. We will notify you when we have a hiring manager in need of a Diversity Advisor. Once you’re assigned, we ask that you commit to the time it takes to assist the hiring manager. The time commitment varies by job posting, hiring manager, and diversity advisor. If in the midst of working with a hiring manager you realize you cannot commit the time to finishing up with the position they are trying to open, we can substitute another Diversity Advisor. We want to accommodate you!
