Are you a hiring manager wanting to be connected with a Diversity Advisor for the hiring process? Where does the Diversity Advisor fit in the hiring process?

  • Contact psychpayroll@email.wustl.edu to inform Human Resources and Payroll that you wish to open a position and request the Job Requisition (JR) form.
  • After receiving the JR form, a Diversity Advisor will reach out to you to assist with through the following steps:
    • Editing the job summary to be sure the language aligns with the department’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
    • Suggesting forums or websites that this job can be posted outside of Workday to expand your applicant pool.
    • Provide diversity, equity, and inclusion-centered questions that can be asked during candidate interviews.
  • It will be up to the hiring manager and diversity advisor’s discretion for how hands-on the diversity advisor will be during the hiring process.

Our Diversity Advisors are a cohort of faculty, staff, and students of the Department of Psychiatry that have all received DEI training and are committed to continuing their education and passion in diversity, equity, and inclusion.
