Kolin Clark

Kolin is a fifth year in the Molecular Genetics and Genomics program and studies novel HIV cure strategies in the lab of Dr. Liang Shan. He earned a BS in Biology and Spanish from Saint Louis University and an MS in Biology from New York University. Prior to his doctoral studies, he worked as a research scientist at the New York City Department for Health and Mental Hygiene. Outside of the lab, he has a passion for Science Diplomacy and is a SciDEAL fellow with the National Science Policy Network. The SciDEAL team is working with the UK Science and Innovation Network to address LGBTQ+ representation in STEM by creating policy recommendations for both the US and the UK.
