Wells Fargo Advisors Center for Finance and Accounting Research (WFA-CFAR)

WFA-CFAR is dedicated to the dissemination of cutting-edge research in finance and accounting by encouraging our faculty and students to work more closely with companies. We do this through the creative design of courses in our degree programs, executive education courses, research white papers, conferences, and projects for companies that involve both Olin faculty and students.  WFA-CFAR works closely with our advisory board to make sure that our efforts stay focused on meeting the needs of business. Through our specialized masters programs — Master of Accounting and Master of Science in Finance — as well as the DBA program in Finance and our Finance curriculum in the BSBA and MBA programs, the center will facilitate the forging of stronger ties between our faculty, students, and business.

The Center for Experiential Learning (CEL)

The Center for Experiential Learning operates at the intersection of students, business and faculty. CEL programs are designed to provide students with an opportunity to apply their knowledge in unstructured learning environments, solving real business problems. Faculty members guide students through this process by advising them on projects and helping steer them to appropriate solutions. Faculty may also participate by directing organizations to the Center and by encouraging students to participate in CEL programs. Currently, the CEL manages four programs.
