I was blessed to join Olin’s GPO office in 2021 as an SMP advisor. I have been an academic advisor for over 20 years and in 18 of those years, I have worked exclusively with graduate students. I graduated from the University of New Mexico, receiving a master’s degree in Organizational Learning and Information Technologies. The focus of my final project was to examine which programs offered by graduate offices are genuinely beneficial for graduate students and where a program might focus on resources.  I currently live in Crestwood Missouri with my husband and 16-year-old. I am currently obsessed with, spending time with my family, reading (hit a personal best of 122 books read this year), finding bargain mid-century modern furniture, watching re-runs of Graham Norton (highlight of 2020 – being a part of his online audience), visiting colleges under consideration for my child, and driving the many back roads of Missouri and Illinois taking pictures of abandoned structures.
