Caitlin is a Palestinian-American from St. Louis, Missouri. She enjoys comic books, art, and philosophy. She hopes to work in civil rights litigation after graduation. She spent her 1L Summer with Land of Lincoln Legal Aid in Alton, Illinois, and she is currently a law clerk with the National Center for Youth Law. You can follow her on Instagram @queen2anan.
Vice President
Amearah Elsamadicy
Amearah Elsamadicy serves as Vice President of MLSA. She is a second year law student and is particularly interested in educational equity for marginalized communities. Amearah is a non-traditional student, having entered law school after a career in education, and is balancing the demands of law school with parenting her toddler. Amearah also enjoys rock climbing, cooking, and novels. She is excited to advocate for and represent the needs of Muslim students here at the law school.
Treasurer
Zain hails from Sugar Land, Texas, where he developed a love for the NBA, theater, chess, and journalism. A former accountant, he hopes to practice tax law after graduation. He spent his 1L summer at the U.S. Tax Court in Washington, D.C., and is spending his 2L summer at a Big Law firm, also in D.C. You can follow him on Twitter @zaindevshi.
