Purchased: 2022 April
Mass: 107 g (1 piece)

Lunar meteorite (feldspathic breccia)

History: Purchased by Ziyao Wang in April 2022 from an Algerian dealer.

Petrography: (A. Irving, UWS and P. Carpenter, WUSL) Breccia composed of mineral grains of olivine, pigeonite and calcic plagioclase in a fine grained matrix containing kamacite (with rare inclusions of taenite), ilmenite and troilite.

Geochemistry: Olivine (Fa27.1-27.8, FeO/MnO = 88-103, N = 4), pigeonite (Fs22.3-23.2Wo8.9-10.2, FeO/MnO = 54-59, N = 3), plagioclase (An87.8-96.0Or1.3-0.1, N = 3).

Classification: Lunar (feldspathic breccia).

Specimens: 20.6 g including a polished slice at UWB; remainder with WangZ.
