This position begins in April 2022 and is paid with a 3-month minimum commitment of 10 hours/wk. This internship will take place in person in our Central West End shop and occasionally offsite for special projects. Candidates must be able to commute to our shop at least 2 days/wk.
Seeking:
-Current college junior/senior or recent grad, studying marketing, advertising, business management, fashion management, or a related field;
-Must be local to St. Louis, Mo;
-Experience creating content (photo & video) for a range of social platforms
-Comfortable with filming/photography and camera set-up on camera, iPhone, or iPad
-Demonstrated experience managing and scaling Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and/or TikTok accounts with a keen focus on community management;
-Experience analyzing social media marketing KPIs and modifying management strategies to improve performance
-A true self starter; unafraid to ask questions and clarify misunderstandings, passionate about social media
-Adobe creative suite and Microsoft office suite experience necessary
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen understanding of customer experience best practices
-Ability to function autonomously and in a cooperative, diverse group
-Proven ability to thrive in a diverse, collaborative environment
-Interest/knowledge in vintage fashion, apparel, and sustainability
-Detail-oriented, organized, resourceful, reliable, and able to manage multiple projects at once
Responsibilities:
-Assist founder on social media strategy, concept, and creation for social & digital media to increase brand awareness, grow followers, and drive traffic to the company website
-Edit videos/photos to optimize content for specific platforms — TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, etc
-Assist with content calendar management
-Periodic engagement with our online community across necessary social media platforms
-Identify social media trends and create quick-turn content to leverage trends -Occasional reporting on KPIs across social channels
Internship period:
3 month minimum commitment with the option to extend
10 hours / week
Compensation:
$15/hr and 30% in-store discount
