2023 Summer INTERNSHIP Office for Socially Engaged Practice (OSEP) INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW The Office for Socially Engaged Practice is involved in a number of programs and partnerships in collaboration with faculty and students across the Sam Fox School who are working with and for communities. The goal of the Internship is to offer an opportunity for a student to participate and contribute towards projects and initiatives that are mutually beneficial to the University and community partners. Students will work closely with the OSEP team. POSITION TYPE: INTERNSHIP Approximately 20 hrs/week The candidate will be provided with a desk in the Office for Socially Engaged Practice suite and encouraged to be in the office while working. The candidate will occasionally meet in the field with OSEP staff for community meetings. LOCATION Office for Socially Engaged Practice Steinberg Hall 210 | Sam Fox School ELIGIBILITY Full-time Undergraduate and Graduate students at the Sam Fox School. Preference given to students who will be enrolled at WashU for the Fall 2023 semester. SALARY $14/hour For questions, contact: Emily Coffman ecoffman@wustl.edu RESPONSIBILITIES Under the direction of the Associate Director and Curriculum and Outreach Coordinator, to assist with all facets of the Office for Socially Engaged Practice. Main projects to include: Building a Community of Practice - Perform research on peer institutions, case studies, and publications to inform strategies and methods to grow Socially Engaged Practices at the Sam Fox School. Communications - Support on-going storytelling through social media content as well as print media.
