Intersect Arts Center has crafted an apprenticeship style afterschool program with 2-5 students working with an individual instructor. They believe that this very personalized attention and care from an artistic mentor is the best way to ensure that students develop their artistic potential, and instructors can have the most meaningful contribution to sharing their craft and life experience.
Intersect is looking for after school mentors for the upcoming academic year. Ideal candidates have visual arts experience and teaching experience. $20/hr. 4-8 hours per week.
They are also looking for an Arts Education Director that would manage the afterschool youth programs and organize adult arts education programs. This is a part-time position at 20 hours a week. This ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience in a leadership role, teaching experience with youth, and visual arts skills/training.
