Veteran Women of Influence have teamed up with residents on Cook Avenue in St. Louis City’s 18th Ward in the Vandeventer Neighborhood, to introduce a “Horticultural Therapeutic Naturescaping Project” aka A Healing & Meditation Garden Park, benefiting the Vandeventer Neighborhood. Our vision will incorporate a labyrinth, Monarch/Wildflower garden, English Tea Garden, etc. which will attract butterflies, bees and birds. In addition, this garden park will reduce storm water runoff, protect drinking water and restore Missouri native plants into our landscape. The group seeks a landscape designer to further develop these ideas, as well as support in organizing neighbors, and developing gardening and the labyrinth.
