Sapana Bansod, PhD

Sapana’s research is centered on investigating the intrinsic role of TAK1 kinase in regulating the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment (TME) in pancreatic cancer. Her work aims to identify novel combination therapies that integrate TAK1 kinase inhibition with immunotherapy to enhance treatment efficacy for pancreatic cancer.

Timothy Chen

Staff Scientist

Tim is working on understanding the impact of MAPK pathway activation  on immune escape in pancreatic cancer.

Paarth Dodhiawala, BS

Post-baccalaureate student

Paarth’s work is focused on understanding the mechanism by which TPL2 mediates MAPK pathway and treatment resistance downstream of oncogenic KRAS.

Patrick Grierson, MD, PhD

Instructor

Patrick’s work is focused on understanding the impact of stress-response MAPK signaling in treatment resistance in pancreatic and biliary tract cancers.
