Zelibeth Gutierrez, MD

Zelibeth Gutierrez, MD, is currently in her second year of training as a Family Physician. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Dr. Gutierrez earned her degree of Doctor in Medicine from the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus in 2020. Committed with her goal of being a well-rounded family physician and with interest of integrating mental health in primary care, she joined the Tallahassee Memorial Family Medicine Residency in Tallahassee, Florida which has given me the opportunity to serve the rural community of the “Big Bend” area. As a primary care doctor, Dr. Gutierrez witnesses the undeniable consequences of unattended major life trauma, substance abuse, among other mental health comorbidities in health care outcomes.
