Detailed description:
My research is mainly based on the Aerosol and Cloud Experiments in the Eastern North Atlantic (ACE-ENA) campaign and long-term observations in the Azores. I participated in the measurement of aerosol size distributions and size-resolved hygroscopicity during the ACE-ENA campaign. I combine the airborne measurements during ACE-ENA and long-term measurements of aerosol and cloud properties at the ENA site to quantify the key processes that control the cloud condensation nuclei concentration in the marine boundary layer.
