Maddy is a graduate student in the lab. She grew up in Decatur, Illinois and graduated from Millikin University as a James Millikin and Honors Scholar with a B.S. in Chemistry (biochemistry emphasis) and a minor in Business Administration. During her time at Millikin, Maddy was very active on campus in and out of the classroom by participating in social and service fraternities, working as a chemistry assistant and math tutor, and completing molecular biology research under Dr. Samuel Galewsky. In her free time, Maddy likes to explore events going on in St. Louis, go for walks in Forest Park, and spend time with friends.
