Kira is majoring in chemistry with a minor in biology and philosophy. She is also a volunteer at the Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. She joined the lab through the MARC uSTAR Summer program. In her free time she enjoys going to concerts and playing soccer. In 2023, Kira was named a MARC U-STAR fellow, which will support her work in the lab from 2023 to 2025.
