Ken Soe

Ken is an undergraduate student at Washington University in St. Louis, majoring in Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry. Ken is a peer tutor through the Chem 111/112 PLTL program, a Crisis Counselor on the 24/7 Crisis Text Line, and a volunteer through the Campus Kitchen. In his free time, he enjoys learning to cook, meeting new people, and studying music. Ken joined the lab in 2021 and was named a uSTAR summer scholar. Recently Ken was named a MARC U-STAR fellow, which will support his work in the lab from 2022 to 2024. In 2022, Ken traveled to the annual ABRCMS meeting where he received a presentation award recognizing his work. In 2023, Ken was named a Goldwater Scholar.
