GRADUATE STUDENTS

The lab accepts students through the Washington University Department of Chemistry and the DBBS program. Students must apply directly to one of these programs, please contact Dr. Jackrel to discuss further. We are also always interested in potential rotation students.

POSTDOCS

UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS

We accept undergraduate students who are committed to working in the lab for at least one year, or to working full time over the summer. To apply, please send a cover letter describing your research interests and a copy of your transcript to mjackrel@wustl.edu

RESEARCH SPECIALISTS

We are interested in hiring research specialists/technicians to work in the lab for 1-2 years. We are looking for recent graduates in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Cell Biology, Genetics, Neuroscience, and related areas. Research specialists typically are interested in spending 1-2 years working full time in the laboratory prior to going to medical or graduate school. Responsibilities will include driving an independent research project and assisting in the general running of the lab.

We are also interested in research specialists with more senior experience.
