My research in Dr. Randolph’s lab focuses on the immune cells, especially myeloid cells in the peritoneal cavity. Our aim is to understand the cellular and molecular trafficking from the peritoneal cavity to other organs and to explore the function of peritoneal immune cells in this process. The ultimate goal is to apply our understanding of the dynamics of peritoneal immune cells to human diseases, such as peritoneal cancer metastasis.
