I love living in Metro Flats! One of the greatest perks is its proximity to campus; it is generally only a seven-minute walk, and it is the closest apartment to campus. It is also close to one of the entrances to the Link, a sky-bridge tunnel system that connects the different hospitals at the WashU Medical Campus, which is perfect for when the weather gets cold. Another wonderful thing about Metro Flats is the fact that it has in-unit laundry and a very spacious living room. A potentially negative aspect is that the bedrooms, at least in some of the two-bedroom models, do not have windows. If you have difficulty waking up in the morning, this may be something to consider. However, it does not bother me and is fantastic for napping!
