Xiaolu Sun

Senior Research Technician

Xiaolu did her undergraduate studies at Hebei University in Baoding, China and a Masters at Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in Beijing, China before coming to the US in 1999.  In 2001, she earned a Masters of Computational Mathematics at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. She then worked at Ohio University in the lab of Dr. Leonard Kohn studying signal transduction in autoimmune disease before joining the DiAntonio lab in 2004.  She maintains the thousands of Drosophila lines used by the lab as well as supports the tissue culture work done in the lab.
