E. J. Brace

Staff Scientist

E.J. hails from the “hamlet” of East Randolph in upstate New York. He received his undergraduate training in chemistry at Duke University and went on to receive a Ph.D. in Biological Chemistry at the University of Michigan. As a graduate student in the lab of Bob Fuller, E.J. studied mechanisms of protein localization in the budding yeast, S. cerevisiae. In the DiAntonio lab, EJ is interested in understanding the signaling cascades that underlie both synaptic development and axonal injury. In his free time E.J can be found cheering on his beloved Blue Devils and chasing after his 3 young daughters.
