Participate in Research

We are always looking for research participants! We conduct a variety of experiments, some of which involve behavioral experiments only, and some of which involve noninvasive brain imaging. If you are interested in learning about our studies and enrolling in an experiment, please email us at complexmemlab@wustl.edu. Even if we are not running a study when you contact us, we can reach out to you as soon as we have something available.

For information about other research studies at WashU, we recommend the following resources:

Undergraduate Research Assistants

A research team consists of many individuals, and key contributions are made by undergraduate research assistants. Whether you want to volunteer your time in the lab to get experience conducting human cognitive neuroscience experiments or would like to do so for course credit, we would love to hear from you! Our approach to undergraduate researchers is simple: although you are helping us conduct studies, we are also responsible for giving you a basic education in what it means to be a researcher, how to run experiments, how to analyze data, and so on. If you’re interested in joining the lab, complete the research assistant application here.

(Note: we may not always have available spots for new research assistants, but it never hurts to reach out.)

Full-Time Staff

We do not anticipate hiring additional staff members at this time. However, if you are interested, please contact the PI directly at zreagh@wustl.edu.

Graduate Students

We are currently accepting applications for graduate students. Co-mentorship opportunities are abundant in the department. If you are interested, Please contact the PI directly at zreagh@wustl.edu.

Postdoctoral Scholars

POSTDOCTORAL POSITION IN THE COMPLEX MEMORY LAB

If you are a PhD level researcher (or anticipate being one soon) who is interested in studying learning, memory, and/or neurocognitive aging using cutting-edge behavioral and neuroimaging techniques, we would love to hear from you! If you are interested in conducting postdoctoral research in the lab, please contact the PI directly at zreagh@wustl.edu.
