Commemorating the 400th Anniversary of Blacks in U.S.

2019 marks the 400th anniversary of the recorded history of Black people in America. In alignment with a national agenda to recognize the significance of this anniversary, Brown School Associate Professor Jack Kirkland created “Blacks in America: 400 Years Plus,” a trilogy of events to commemorate and explore this milestone in American culture.
