Research:

I am interested in understanding the pathophysiology of cerebrovascular disease by leveraging big data approaches in combining genetic, clinical, and neuroimaging data, with the overarching goal of deriving clinically relevant information to drive innovations in treatment strategies, and improve precision in clinical decision-making and risk stratification. In particular, my current efforts focus on dissecting the contribution of cerebral small vessel disease in vascular and mixed dementias using multidisciplinary and multiphenotype approaches in order to develop strategies for prevention and treatment of cognitive decline in cerebrovascular and neurodegenerative disorders.
