Yuanyuan Yang is a doctoral student at the Brown School of Social Work. She received her bachelor’s degree in management from Beijing Normal University and a master’s degree in public policy from New York University. Previously, she worked as a research assistant at the McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research and the China Center for Social Policy. Her research interests lie in asset building over the life course, social determinants of health, mental health outcomes and poverty policy.
