Xue-Yan He Lab: Conquering Stress in Cancer
Understanding the “Stressed” Tumor Microenvironment
About the Lab
Our Goal
Advancing knowledge of the mechanisms responsible for colorectal tumor progression,
with a specific focus on Stress
and its influence on the Tumor Microenvironment.
Current Projects
- Determine whether and how stress alters the gut homeostasis
- Evaluate the effects of stress-induced Neutrophil Extracellular Traps (NETs) on the microenvironment of colorectal cancer (CRC) and its liver metastasis.
- Determine how stress-induced locoregional neuron-tumor interactions affect CRC progression.
