Ph.D. in Computational and Data Sciences

About Me:

I am a first-year Ph.D.. Before joining WashU, I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Lancaster University in the UK in 2021, followed by a Master’s Degree in Biostatistics and Data Science at WashU.

Research Interests and experiences

I am particularly focused on applying machine learning and deep learning techniques in the field of neuroimaging, with a specific emphasis on Alzheimer’s disease pathology.

I am doing my first rotation with Professor Aris Sotiras at the Computational Imaging Research Center (CIRC), working on the age difference between chronological age and the age derived by multiple modalities using tree-based algorithms. Previous works involve implementing orthogonal projective non-negative matrix factorization (OP-NMF) for finding co-varying components of Alzheimer’s disease using sMRI data.
