Thank you for your interest in working with me! I am always interested in new students who wish to work on the kinds of topics we study in our research group. However, I receive too many individual emails, and I am not in a position to respond to each of them individually. Thus, I am summarizing the information here.
- Current or admitted WashU students: Please send me an email, ideally with some information about your interests and why you are interested in my specific research areas, and we can set up a time to talk. If you are not yet at WashU, we can discuss over email/phone/Skype.
- Prospective graduate students: Please see this page for information on applying to our graduate program. If you are interested in working with me, mention that and describe how our research interests overlap in your statement. Admissions decisions are not made by individual faculty members. Thus, do not email me personally. I apologize for not being more helpful and wish you the best of luck in your applications.
- Prospective post-doctoral researchers and visitors: I currently do not have any openings for postdoctoral researchers or research visitors. If you have your own funding, I will be happy to explore our joint interests. Please send me an email with your CV. I look forward to hearing from you.
