“To increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers, who excel academically, succeed professionally, and positively impact the community,” is the mission statement that guides our chapter activities.
Goals
Academic excellence is achieved through our mentor/mentee program, study sessions before large exams, academic technology bowls, and sharing academic related knowledge at bi-weekly meetings. Professional success is accomplished through the planning and execution of our annual campus wide career fair, company presentations during our meetings, professional development workshops, and regional and national convention attendance. Positive community impact is achieved through our annual NSBE week, and campus collaborations and support.
