For what dates should I schedule my arrival and departure?

Summer housing check-in will be available starting two days prior to the start of the program. You must vacate your unit by 11:00 am the day after the program concludes.

What relocation expenses are covered?

CEMB will reimburse up to $600 of costs associated with relocating to St. Louis for the summer, if needed. Allowable costs include: airfare, mileage if you are driving, baggage fees, shipping costs, and ground transportation. The necessity and reasonableness of these costs will be assessed on a case-by-case business. Please reach out to us if you have questions or expenses not listed here.

When and how will I receive my stipend?

Stipends will be issued in three installments during the program. The first installment will be paid early in the program, but can some time to process, as paperwork and set up protocols need to be completed for those new to Washington University. You can receive your stipend by check or direct deposit.

When and how will I receive my travel reimbursement?

Please submit all original receipts to our office within 7 days of travel. We process these as they come in and payment is typically issued within a few days of the traveler signing his/her expense statement. Reimbursements are issued typically issued by check.
