The national society was originally established at the University of Alabama in 1926 and has since grown into the world’s largest honor society exclusively serving pre-health education. Currently, Alpha Epsilon Delta boasts a membership exceeding 144,000 in 186 chapters. The Missouri Gamma chapter at WUSTL received its charter in 1992 and has since been a prominent and active student organization on campus.
AED organizes several events , some free of charge throughout the year. Some of our most popular events and activities include:

- Ronald McDonald House Volunteering
- AED also teams up with MAPS, IPS, PMS, and other pre-health groups to co-host a Pre-Health Week.
- Partnership with MCAT test prep resources
- Events include pre-health advising, a Pre-Health Professionals Panel, CPR Certification, a Medical School Admissions Panel, Battle of the Pre-Meds Jeopardy and many more. Kaplan also raffles off a few free MCAT courses!
