The University City Public Art Series is a product of the partnership between University City and the Washington University in St. Louis’s Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Art. Over the past 30 years, nearly 200 temporary public art pieces have been produced by Sam Fox School students and funded through the University City Municipal Commission on Arts & Letters. The University City Public Art Series is the longest running public art partnership between a university and a municipality in the United States.

This website functions as a virtual archive of the pieces produced for the Series since 1986, containing pictures, videos, project proposals, and other related materials.
