Sarah Cheatham Oberle
Sarah Cheatham Oberle, OTD, OTR/L is a pediatric Occupational Therapist and Instructor in the Program of Occupational Therapy and Washington University in St. Louis. She designed and implemented Train Your Brain summer camp in 2018 to support children and families on their journeys with ADHD and other cognitive diagnoses. Sarah is a proud sister, mother, and therapist to those with cognitive diagnoses and aims to provide strategies, supports, education, and resources for children, families, and teachers to navigate meaningful participation in all environments.
Cayla Yannuzzi
Cayla’s current project explores young adults’ reflections of their lived experience with childhood ADHD. From Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Cayla is passionate about promoting self-determination in neurodiverse children and learning how to best support functional cognition. Cayla plans to pursue a career as a school occupational therapist.
Lindsey Papuc
From Corte Madera, California, Lindsey is a second year OTD student passionate about functional cognition and executive function. Lindsey plans to pursue a career in school-based practice in early childhood.
Tina Kao
Tina, originally from Taiwan, co-leads the development of the Master Mind program. She is passionate about supporting children and their caregivers with functional cognition strategies and collaborates with teachers to help children achieve daily functioning and unlock students’ potential. Tina plans to pursue a career in school-based settings and early intervention.
Elise Thompkins
Elise is the graduate assistant for Dr. Cheatham Oberle’s lab. She is a current second year MSOT student finishing up WashU’s 3+2 occupational therapy program. She is passionate about supporting functional cognition skills and connecting children and their families to the resources and supports they need and desire. Elise plans to pursue a career in pediatrics, specifically in early intervention or NICU practice.
