Tara Salman is a final year Ph.D. candidate in computer engineering at Washington University in St. Louis, supervised by Prof. Raj Jain (http://www.cse.wustl.edu/~jain/). Her research interests include computer networks, blockchains, and security. Her dissertation work spans several computer science fields, including blockchain technology, network systems, security, distributed systems, cloud computing, Internet of Things, and machine learning applications.

  • December 2020: Our paper “Recent Advances
    in the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) Systems Security” has been accepted in IEEE IoT Journal, https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/9298452
  • November 2020: Will be presenting a Research poster and a 7-minutes job talk at Rising Stars in EECS
  • October 2020: I been selected to participate in Rising Stars in EECS 2020, an academic career workshop for women in EECS hosted by UC Berkeley
