StrokeNet is an NIH-created network of 27 regional centers across the U.S. where numerous clinical trials and research studies take place. It was designed to serve as the infrastructure and pipeline for new potential treatments for patients with stroke and those at risk for stroke.

The StrokeNet fellowship is funded by the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) and aims to support early-career development of clinical trial expertise in ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke.

As a member of StrokeNet, Washington University is able to help support one early-career research faculty member per year who has particular interest in the above.
