Our research lab uses behavioral tasks and neuroimaging techniques to study prosocial behaviors and socio-emotional processing in children and adolescents. We are currently recruiting for the studies below.

Reward Motivations in Adolescence

The Reward Motivations in Adolescence study seeks to understand how children and adolescents process different types of rewards. Participants must be between 10 and 13 years old.

Participation includes 1 study visit (3-4 hours), an fMRI scan, computer game tasks, and questionnaires. Up to $100 is provided for time and effort.

Child Parent Reward

The Child Parent Reward study seeks participation from families with a child between 6 and 10 years old! Participation requires one parent and a 6- to 10-year-old child.

Participation includes 2 study visits, an fMRI scan, computer and puzzle game tasks, and questionnaires. Up to $100 is provided for time and effort ($50 for each visit).

Characterizing Prosocial Media and Neurodevelopment in Kids

The Characterizing Prosocial Media and Neurodevelopment in Kids study seeks to characterize how children engage in media (e.g., playing video games, streaming Netflix) and how media use is related to social, emotional, and brain development. Children must be between 3 and 7 years old to participate.

Participation includes 1 study visit over Zoom and may require future in-person visits. Up to $50 is provided for the first visit ($25/hour).
