We strongly believe that cost should never be a limiting factor when selecting a school or career path. At the highest level, the School of Medicine is committed to lowering our graduates’ debt as much as possible. Our staff in the Office of Student Financial Planning will work closely with you to make sure you have what you need to fund your education.

Learn how we can help you make medical school affordable, and ask us any questions you have about types of aid available, how to complete your application, and how to save money as a medical student at Washington University.

Financial Aid at the School of Medicine

The average debt for WashU Med graduates is significantly lower than the national median for medical school graduates. In addition, each year we freeze tuition for the entering class, meaning your tuition will not go up while you are in medical school.
