Financial Aid at the School of Medicine
The average debt for WashU Med graduates is significantly lower than the national median for medical school graduates. In addition, each year we freeze tuition for the entering class, meaning your tuition will not go up while you are in medical school.
- Merit-based scholarships are awarded by the faculty’s Committee on Admissions
- Need-based scholarships are awarded through the Office of Student Financial Planning
- Loans are available to students who qualify, based on completion of the FAFSA and the financial aid application
