The Salon has benefited from a Faculty Seminar Grant from the Center for the Humanities at Washington University in St. Louis since 2011.
Salon members William Acree, Matt Erlin, Kristina Kleutghen, Rebecca Messbarger, and Wolfram Schmidgen have been awarded fellowships from the National Endowment for the Humanities.
Rebecca Messbarger will be a Faculty Fellow at the Center for the Humanities in fall, 2013 and Tili Boon Cuillé will be a Faculty Fellow in spring, 2014 dedicated to the theme of “affect.”
Kristina Kleutghen is on leave in 2013-2014 as a Getty Research Institute-National Endowment for the Humanities (GRI-NEH) Postdoctoral Fellow for the project “Visions of the West: Rediscovering Eighteenth-Century Chinese Perspective Prints and Viewing Devices.”
